The Application of the Four Iddhipāda Dhammas to Promote Phrapariyattidhamma Education of Pāli Department of the Nong Kung Temple Office of Religious Studies, Nam Phong District, Khon Kaen Province

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the condition of the teaching management of the Pāli Department of the Office of Religious Studies at Nong Kung Temple, Nam Phong District, Khon Kaen Province; and 2) to analyze the application of the Four Iddhipāda Dhammas to promote the study of the Pāli Department of the Office of Religious Studies at Nong Kung Temple, Nam Phong District, Khon Kaen Province. This study utilized qualitative research by studying related documents and research. The research tool was an interview form. The target group included 22 administrators, teachers, and students. The obtained data were analyzed by descriptive methods.
The result of this research as follows:
1. The condition of the teaching management of the Pāli Department of the Office of Religious Studies at Nong Kung Temple, Nam Phong District, Khon Kaen Province: in terms of administration/management, there are an abbot/assistant abbot and headmaster as the policymaker in education management. Teachers are those who completed Pāli Studies (3-6). The curriculum is obtained from Sanam Luang, Pāli Department, including learner development activities, exercises, and training. The number of novice learners is declining every year. The budget subsidized by the National Buddhism Office is not an appropriate system. Measurement and evaluation once a year by Sanam Luang, Pāli Department is inadequate.
2. The application of the Four Iddhipāda Dhammas to promote the study of the Pāli Department of the Office of Religious Studies at Nong Kung Temple: in the view of administrators, they are satisfied with promoting Pāli studies in Phrapariyattidhamma School. They have determination, patience, intention, and responsibility to promote Pāli studies of the school. Thoughtfulness is used to lead to further improvements. Each teacher believes in his/her duty of teaching and is diligent and responsible for his/her teaching duties. Teachers are attentive and motivating students, and they consider and analyze teaching problems. Students must have passion and goals in order to learn successfully. They must learn with a willingness and determination to learn in that regard. Learners must be more attentive to learning than anything else. They must review their strengths and weaknesses and think of ways to improve one's deficiencies according to the Four Iddhipāda Dhammas.
