The Study of Behavior in Dating Applications Using among Thai Men (Heterosexual Men, Gays and Bisexuals)

The purposes of this research were to: 1) study dating applications using male users 2) compare identity disclosure on dating applications in male user groups 3) investigate the relation between the appointment and male users and 4) investigate the relation between sex behavior while using the dating application and male user groups The samples were 3 groups of 128 male users include heterosexual men, gays and bisexuals. The research tool was an online questionnaire about dating application using divided into 3 parts i.e. general using, identity disclosure and sex behavior. Data ware analyzed by using percentage and Chi-square test. The research results showed as follows. 1) Most of male users used dating applications for 5-20 mins/day, Friday-Sunday, 9.00 p.m. – 12.00 a.m., at home or dorm 2) The identity discloser on date applications of 3 male user groups including heterosexual men, gays and bisexuals were different at .05 level of statistical significance 3) The appointment by using dating applications was related to 3 male user groups was at .05 level of statistical significance and 4) The sex behavior of the 3 male user groups was not significantly related to using dating application.
