Abstract

          The purpose of this music analysis is to study and researching on Kinderszenen, Op. 15. This repertoire is a set of 13 short pieces for piano solo which composed by Robert Schumann. He is one of the greatest German composers in the Romantic era. Moreover, this analysis will mainly focus on the potential of repertoires interpretation, including the study of the repertoire’s biography, their inspirations and music background in order to reach a deeper understanding of the repertoires. Therefore, it is significant for the musician to exact communication the music to the audience which is related to composer’s purpose.
