Knowledge Assessment: Grading

Abstract

This academic article aims to orientate student's knowledge assessment when they completed each subject or “Grading.” A grade indicates student’s achievement in each subject. Therefore, grading process ought to be proper and fair to every stakeholder concerned and it is each instructor's direct responsibility to perform such duty. This is to reflect the student's real competency, whether they reach each subject objectives. Thus, teacher should be clear in grading which includes content, load as well as format which are as follow: norm-referenced grading, criterion-referenced grading and criterion and norm referenced grading.
