บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการแสวงหาและการใช้สารสนเทศด้านสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุในโรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุตำบลแม่กา อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดพะเยา โดยมุ่งเน้นศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการแสวงหาและการใช้สารสนเทศ พฤติกรรมการเข้าถึงข้อมูลสุขภาพ ตลอดจนปัญหาและอุปสรรคที่พบ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างนักเรียนผู้สูงอายุในโรงเรียนผู้สูงอายุสองแห่ง รวม 120 คน โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือหลัก

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า แหล่งข้อมูลที่ผู้สูงอายุเลือกใช้มากที่สุดคือบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ รองลงมาคือโทรทัศน์และครอบครัว หัวข้อข้อมูลสุขภาพที่ต้องการมากที่สุด ได้แก่ โรคทั่วไป การออกกำลังกาย และโภชนาการ ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการแสวงหาข้อมูล ได้แก่ ความสะดวกในการเข้าถึง ความน่าเชื่อถือของข้อมูล และการสนับสนุนจากครอบครัว ปัญหาหลักที่พบ ได้แก่ การขาดทักษะด้านเทคโนโลยี ความไม่แน่ใจในความน่าเชื่อถือของข้อมูล และปัญหาด้านการอ่าน/สายตา ข้อค้นพบนี้แสดงถึงความสำคัญของการพัฒนาวิธีส่งเสริมให้ผู้สูงอายุเข้าถึงสารสนเทศด้านสุขภาพได้ดีขึ้น โดยเฉพาะการเพิ่มทักษะด้านเทคโนโลยี การช่วยเหลือจากบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ และการสร้างแหล่งข้อมูลที่ใช้งานง่าย เพื่อลดข้อจำกัดต่างๆ และปรับปรุงคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุระยะยาว
