Development of Asset Control System via Two-Dimensional Barcodes (QR CODE): A Case Study College of Industrial Technology, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok

Abstract

The aims of this research are as following: 1) To analyzed problems and obstacle sunder the old system, 2) To develop the control goods system with two dimensional Quick Response (QR) code, and 3) To evaluate the user satisfaction with the system developed by the researcher. The specific type was selected as representative sample (30 persons) in this research which are the operational supply officers, the person involved in supply work, the person involved in acceptance supply inspection committee in College of Industrial Technology, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. Research tools is goods control system with 2-dimentional QR code and the user satisfaction evaluation for the development system. All data were analyzed using percentage, mean and standard deviation.

          This research found that the evaluation of user satisfaction on the developed system with very high level score. In addition, to considering in each people can be sort these in order of their importance, from most to least as following; Usability Test, Functional Test, Functional Requirement Test, and Security Test, respectively. To sum up, the development goods control system with 2-dimentional QR code can be use effectively.
