- Guidelines for teaching learning management under the Covid virus epidemic situation: Case study population and environment course

Abstract

This article aims to study the guidelines for teaching learning management in Thai population and environment subjects under the Covid virus epidemic situation according to the perspective of social studies students of learning in the second semester of the academic year 2021 in Sisaket Rajabhat University. The sample group used in the study were 60 social studies students enrolled in the population and environment course. The tools used in the research were Interview form and brainstorming of students via an online system.

            The study found that students' views on teaching and learning management in the course of Population and Environment under the Covid virus epidemic situation have presented a model of teaching and learning management for maximum efficiency which can be summarized into 3 main points as follows:

1) It should be an online learning rather than a classroom, focusing on knowledge exchange learning and let the teacher give advice and guidance to students. The students think that in the situation with the Covid virus outbreak, they should focus on online learning rather than in the classroom for safety. At the same time, teachers and students should exchange knowledge in online classrooms; But if in the class the student has doubts about the course or the task that the teacher has tasked them then the teacher should be the one who advises and guides.

2) Group work online in class should be a separate sub-room in the online system, And to find information from the Internet to exchange knowledge, summarize the knowledge of the group and present it online. Students point out that in online learning If there is group work, sub-rooms should be shared online so that each group can talk to each other privately. Then each group gathered information that can be summarized as a body of knowledge on that subject of the group and it can be shared with friends.

3) Group should focus on individual work orders rather than group work. And teachers should have a new form of checking names to motivate students. Students suggest that if professors have work for them, they should focus on individual work rather than group work to prevent the safety of gatherings. In addition, when entering online classes, teachers should check names in new ways to encourage students. and pay attention to the hours of study.
