EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATOR’S COMPETENCY AND COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY USAGE AFFECTING ON LEARNERS’ COMPETENCY IN OFFICE OF EDUCATION REGION 14

Abstract
The objectives of this research aimed at 1) the study of the relationship between educational administrator’s competency, computer technology usage and learners’ competency 2) the analyzing of the influence on learners’ competency development. The researcher used a questionnaire in collecting 400 respondents of administrators and teachers in office of education region 14, for analysis.
The research results found that 1) the elements of educational administrator’s competency related significantly and in the same direction to computer technology usage from moderate to high at .01 and the elements of computer technology usage also related significantly to learners’ competency at .01 and 2) the elements of educational administrator’s competency and computer technology usage such as data technology usage, the additional technology material, the advance computer operation, data and communication usage, the working ability in virtual environment and technology literacy, influenced and predicted simultaneously on learners’ competency at R2 = .56 and F = 85.00 (Sig .000).
