Background

The Journal of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in Humanities and Social Sciences ISSN Online: XXXX-XXXX is the academic journal of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, previously known as the College of Trade Journal ISSN: Print 0126-243. It has been continually produced and published since before 1996.
The publication is printed every three months, and 4 issues are published per year: 1st Issue, January-March, 2nd Issue, April-June, 3rd Issue, July-September, and 4th Issue, October -December. Before the year 2007, the academic works published included special articles, research articles, academic articles, and interesting miscellaneous knowledge. Then, from 2007 to 2016,
the journal published 4 types of academic works: research articles, academic articles, book reviews, and review articles. However, there were no submissions of book reviews and review articles, the editorial team then agreed to a new policy beginning in 2017 and accepted only 2 types of articles for publication which were research articles and academic articles.

The aim of the articles published in the journal is to enhance knowledge and the academic quality
of papers which are able to be acceptably cited and quoted as references. The accepted articles will
be screened and evaluated via a double-blind evaluation method by 3 experts before releasing them
to the public. Therefore, the Academic Journal of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in Humanities and Social Sciences can be considered as a high-quality and accepted academic journal among scholars. It was also awarded grants from the Office of the Higher Education Commission for
4 consecutive years, between 2006 and 2009.
Currently, the journal has been certified for quality by the Thai Journal Citation Index Center (TCI)  as a Tier 1 Journal which lasts until December 31, 2024.

The editorial department prepares every issue of the journal in a complete printed book. We therefore cordially invite all readers to subscribe to our journals to acquire an accurate and thorough body of knowledge, which will be applicable to and useful for references. Aims of the journal

1. To publish quality research articles and academic articles that have been carefully appraised and screened by certified experts.
2. To promote and stimulate the expansion of academic knowledge for the general populace. It encourages lecturers, scholars, researchers, and experts in the humanities and social sciences
   to present their academic work in the fields of business administration, accounting, economics, humanities, communication arts, law, tourism and service industries, as well as early childhood education.

Policy and Scope of accepting articles

The academic journal editorial team is pleased to welcome research articles or academic articles in both Thai and English from authors who are professors, academics, researchers, and experts in the fields of humanities and social sciences as well as other covering areas of business administration, accounting, economics, humanities, communication arts, law, tourism and service industries, and early childhood education. The work submitted for consideration must not have been previously published in any other publication or be under consideration by other journals. And starting from January 1, 2021 onwards, the article authors are requested to pay the fees for article quality assessment at Submissions Online articles in the ThaiJo system as follows:

*In this regard, the member who collaborates with the non-member for publication has to pay the article quality assessment fee at the same rate as the non-member of 5,000 baht per article.

The authors of the article have to make the payment for the article quality assessment fee by transferring money to the account of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce on the Saving Account of the Bangkok Bank, Huai-khwang Branch, Account number 176-0-81360-8.
The money transfer needs to be completed before submitting the articles via Thai Journals Online (ThaiJO) and also upload the evidence of the money transfer at ‘Add discussions’ or send it via E-mail: [email protected].

Please be informed that the main author must provide his or her full name, address, and postal code to be included in the receipt (and please specify the address to deliver the receipt if it is not the same as the one in the receipt). 

           Additionally, the editorial team does not have a policy to refund the article quality assessment fee in any case, including those rejected for publication. The fee is the expense the editorial team will pay to the experts who evaluate the quality of the articles. Therefore, please acknowledge this condition before submitting an article for publication in our academic journal.

Publishing Schedule

The Academic Journal of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in Humanities and Social Sciences is scheduled to be published every 3 months, 4 issues per year, as follows:
