Policy & Law to Support Startup in Thailand

Abstract

Nowadays, startup is considered as the popular business model for new generation of entrepreneurs. Several startups have been set up to solve current problems. As a result, startups have brought extraordinary change, new market opportunities and new target of the customers. It also creates new business models which can fulfill the customer’s  needs by applying technology and innovation. Public sector plays an important role to support startup by assisting startups to create startup ecosystem through public policies and regulations. Studying public policies and regulations is necessary to motivate new startups to set up in Thailand and persuade both angel investors and venture capitalists to invest in Thai startups. Accordingly, the issuance of proper public policies, laws and regulations will result in the development of Thai economy, Thai innovation and Thai citizen.
