THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE TEACHING MANAGEMENT MODEL FOR SCIENCE SUBJECTS MATHAYOMSUKSA 2 ON THE CIRCULATORY SYSTEM USING SKILL EXERCISES AND VIDEO SUPPLEMENTARY

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to 1) develop a model for teaching and learning science on the circulatory system for students in Mathayom 2. 2) Compare science academic achievement before and after science study. 3) Develop a model for teaching and learning science subjects Mathayom 2 study on the circulatory system using skill exercises and video supplementary. The research results revealed that 1) students in Mathayom 2 did not know and understand in science content about the circulatory system, also they were still lack of expertise in doing exercise. 2) When comparing the academic achievement before and after using the skill exercises and video supplementary, it was found that students had better academic achievement after using the skill exercises and video. The students' score before using the skill exercises and video supplemetary was 41.50 percent, but after using skill exercises and video supplementary, the student’s score was increased to 65.50 percent, and the standard devision was at 2.65. 3) The development of the teaching management model for science subjects Mathayomsuksa 2 on the circulatory system using skill exercises and video supplementary generated the students' understanding and clear vision with the concept and had better critical thinking skills in exam taking.
