Attitude towards love of the female protagonist Thai translation of the Chinese novel “Her City”

Abstract
This research aims to study the attitudes towards love of three female protagonists of three different ages in the translated work “Her City” by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. It analyzes the characteristics of their attitudes towards love and the key factors influencing them. The study found four prominent attitudes towards love among the female characters: love for their children, filial piety, love for their close friend (Guimi), and love for their husbands. Factors influencing these attitudes include values, life experiences, personal traits, and the relationships and friendships between the three characters. This highlights the search for self-worth and emotional refuge among modern women, presenting the diversity and realism of women's perspectives on love within the context of neorealism.
