STRATEGIES FOR DEVELOPING THE NATIONAL BASIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATIONAL TEST OF THE NETWORK GROUP 1 NAKHON SI THAMMARAT PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 3

Abstract
The study aimed 1. to study Mathematics teaching conditions, 2. to create the development strategies for an O-NET score and 3. to present the development strategies of an O-NET score in the network group 1, Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The study was conducted using research and development (R&D). The conditions were investigated by interviewing 5 experts. The strategies were created by 15 questionnaire respondents. A draft of strategies was designed by 5 experts. The strategies were presented by using focus group discussion of 7 experts. Research instruments were interview, questionnaire, and focus group.
The research showed that:
1. External environment is positive with opportunity. Original affiliation provides an equality of education. Parents support the private lessons after school. Regarding the educational barriers, parents cannot support their children’s learning at home and students lack discreteness in using technology. For the strength of the internal environment, the schools manage and administrate by using a participatory principle and manage education in accordance with the school curriculum. The teachers have self-development and focus on their teaching. The weaknesses are as follows: the lack of internal supervision, students lack of mathematical skills, and teachers with heavy workload.
2. For the result of creating the strategies from environmental analysis using BCG relation, it found that the components of the strategies consisted of 1) vision 2) mission 3) goal, and 4) 7 strategies in total.
3. The development strategies of an O-NET score for Math Subject consisted of 7 strategies as follows: 1) educational management support 2) the development of teachers and personnel 3) teaching and curriculum development 4) the promotion of student caring system 5) the participation development from all sectors 6) the promotion of the budget management and 7) the development of appropriate learning resources.
