GUIDELINES FOR LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT WITH INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY TO INCREASE THE LEARNING POTENTIAL OF STUDENTS IN THE NEW NORMAL ERA

Abstract

          This article aims to study and present guidelines for library development with information and communication technology to enhance the learning potential of students in the New Normal era. The results of the study are as follows: in library development with information and communication technology to enhance the learning potential of students in the New Normal era, all parties -school administrators, teachers, librarians, school personnel as well as students, parents, and the community must be involved and responsible with systematic and continuous work; planning, implementing, promoting, supporting, evaluating performance and improving. This is to develop students according to the goals of the school library and to enhance the learning potential of students in the New Normal era by changing the learning area with fingertips teaching and learning to accompany by technology and creative innovations. It will create the possibility of learning all content from anyone, anywhere, and anytime changing the learning zone from school to mobile phone or computer only applying books, teaching materials, and evaluation to achieve the goal of learning differently. The goals of education may remain the same, but learners can use different methods to reach them. Some children may learn faster if they look at pictures or video clips, however, some children may enjoy listening to the teacher's lecture. This is because each person's learning style is not the same. The school, therefore, has to determine the appropriate teaching and learning management guidelines to be able to continue teaching and learning.
