Management According to the Dasapitrajadhamma Ten Principles of the Charity School in Songkhla Buddhist Temple

Abstract
This research article aims to: 1) manage the charity school in Songkhla Buddhist temple according to Dasapitrajadhamma Ten Principles, 2) compare the management according to Dasapitrajadhamma Ten Principles of the charity school in Songkhla Buddhist temple based on the variables of gender, age, education background, and work experience, and 3) study the mamangement guidelines for applying Dasapitrajadhamma Ten Principles in Songkhla Buddhist temple. This is mixed-method research. The population of the study was the number of teachers at Samankun Wittayatan School, Jaeng Wittaya School, and Wat Nai Wang School. The research samples were 169 teachers from those three schools. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by frequency and percentage. The qualitative study collected the data from eight informants using in-depth interviews. The data analysis applied a content analysis approach. The research findings revealed that: 1) "This study aimed to examine the management of temple charity schools in Songkhla Province according to the Ten Royal Virtues. The findings revealed that overall management was rated at a high level, with 'non-anger' ( = 4.54, S.D. = 0.27) scoring the highest, while 'righteousness' ( = 4.14, S.D. = 0.58) was the lowest. 2) the comparison results presented that the opinions of teachers with different ages, education background, and work experience towards the management according to Dasapitrajadhamma Ten Principles of the charity school in Songkhla Buddhist temple were not different; however, the opinions of teachers with different genders towards the management according to Dasapitrajadhamma Ten Principles of the charity school in Songkhla Buddhist temple were different at the statistical significance level of .001, and 3) it was suggested thatthe management according to Dasapitrajadhamma Ten Principles of the charity school in Songkhla Buddhist temple should prioritize the best interests of the school rather than personal desires. Duties should be carried out with diligence, accuracy, and efficiency. There should be no cruelty, oppression, or harassment that causes distress to teachers, students, parents, the community, or society as a whole.
