HOW TO EVALUATE EDUCATION, TO TRULY BENEFIT
Main Article Content
Abstract
To truly benefit educational evaluation, a Utilization-Focused Evaluation (UFE) model is required. This approach aims to produce results or benefits that meet the consensus of stakeholders, those who need to use the evaluation results, and those who specifically want to use the actual evaluation results. The model relies on the principles of “Active,” “Reactive,” and “Adaptive” for the evaluator to assume roles such as a Moderator, lecturer, trainer, Innovator, negotiator, facilitator, or participant in the evaluation. This approach also involves conducting evaluation audits using a Utilization-Focused Evaluation model, which will lead to a unanimous agreement among all involved, ultimately generating true benefits from the evaluation.
