Administration of Career Guidance in Educational Opportunity Expansion Schools, Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract

The research entitled “Career Guidance Administration in Educational Opportunity Expansion Schools under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 1” aimed to: (1) investigate the level of career guidance administration in educational opportunity expansion schools under Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 1; and (2) compare opinions regarding career guidance administration classified by gender, age, educational level, position, and job responsibility. The sample included 60 participants: 30 school administrators and 30 teachers responsible for guidance services. The research instrument was a five-point rating scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviations, t-tests, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The findings showed that the overall level of career guidance administration was high. Considering each aspect individually, all aspects were rated at a high level. The highest-rated aspect was preparing guidance learning management plans, followed by determining learning objectives and designing guidance learning activities. Comparative analysis indicated that respondents of different genders, educational levels, and positions did not differ significantly in their opinions regarding career guidance administration. However, respondents of different age groups showed statistically significant differences at the .05 level. Furthermore, job responsibilities differed significantly in certain aspects at the .05 level.
