From Urban Governance to digital urban governance Reviewing the Changes of Ideas and Analytical dimensions

Abstract
This article aims to study the details of urban governance concept in order to compare with the concept of digital urban governance. The main purpose of the comparative analysis is to indicate the change of urban governance idea after the emergence of smart city in the 21st century. The academic articles published on Google Scholar and Thai-journal Citation Index Center were the main data source to analyze the core concepts, analytical dimensions and paths of urban creation and development. The findings pointed that the concept of urban governance traditionally emphasized actors, power sharing between actors and management of power to determine the urban creation and development. For the concept of digital urban governance, it highlighted the significance of technologies, intended to analyze the impacts of technological utilization for urban management and concentrated on technological management for planning the urban creation and development. However, the analysis of urban informal sectors with urban governance and digital urban governance is a necessary issue for future analysis.
