Abstract

This paper aimed to clarify the understanding of the paradigms for educational research. The research multi-paradagms may suggest new ways of seeing and understanding for new opportunities for developing educational research. Methodology regards on autoethnography (Afonso and Taylor, 2009) in order to provide framework of writing reflection on what the author have learned about research multiple paradigms which Professor Peter Charles Taylor (Murdoch University, Australia)organized for KKU PhD sciece education in seminar. This article clarified of one author’s understanding on educational research through narrative and reflective on Peter’s seminar. The narrative and reflective the author’s thinking include educational research as anthropology, experiences, and beliefs. Educational research should aware of conducting research considering on human being which depends on individual experiences and beleifs. Therefore, the researcher may use the anthropological worldview as a common lens in the study of educational research. The educational researchers should hold research multi-paradigms in order to understand and see the new opportunities for developing new ideas in developing educational research.
