Community solid waste disposal in Non Sung Municipality, Khun Han District Sisaket Province

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to study and compare people's opinions on community solid waste disposal in Non Sung Municipality, Khun Han District, Sisaket Province. The sample group used in this study consisted of 354 people living in Non Sung Municipality, Khun Han District, Sisaket Province. The samples were determined by using of Krejcie and Morgan (Krejcie and Morgan table). Data collection consisted of a 5-level estimation questionnaire which had a total confidence value of 0.95. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test, and F-test.

The results showed that Community solid waste disposal in Non Sung Municipality, Khun Han District, Sisaket Province by overall, the practice was at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the practice was at a high level in all aspects. Sorting averages from highest to lowest were waste problem solving, followed by solid waste sorting. In terms of solid waste disposal and recycling, respectively, the comparison of community solid waste disposal in Non Sung Municipality, Khun Han District, Sisaket Province. Classified by general information of the respondents found that people by gender, age, education level and different monthly income. Opinions on community solid waste disposal in Non Sung Municipality, Khun Han District, Sisaket Province by overall and in each aspect with no differences.
