Public Welfare in Kutฺadantasutta

Abstract

          This article aims to analyze the content in the Kutadantasutta and the principles of public welfare of the Sangha.  According to the analytical study, it was found that the content in the Kutฺadantasutta can be applied in the public welfare’s work because the principle of public welfare’s work is to help people who have problems in their lives. The contents of the Kutฺadantasutta clearly show the principles of helping people who have problems in their lives. According to the principle that the Lord Buddha said when he sent his disciples out to propagate the religion that focused on working for the benefit for the happiness of the masses and for compassion of the world. The work of the Sangha at present is to carry out according to the principles laid down by the Lord Buddha that is working for benefit for happiness and for the benefit of the masses.
