Receiving Social Welfare Affect to Quality of Life with Disabled Person in Huasamrong Sub-district Administrative Organization Plaeng Yao District, Chachoengsao Province

Abstract

The objective research was to study: 1) The social welfare for disabled people in the Hua Samrong Sub-district Administrative Organization, Plaeng Yao District, Chachoengsao Province. 2) To study the quality of life of disabled people in the Hua Samrong Sub-district Administrative Organization, Plaeng Yao District, Chachoengsao Province. 3) To compare personal characteristics and welfare benefits of disabled people in the area of Hua Samrong Sub-district Administrative Organization, Plaeng Yao District, Chachoengsao Province. , and
4) To study the receiving social welfare that affects the quality of life of disabled people in the Sub-district Administrative Organization area Hua Samrong, Plaeng Yao District, Chachoengsao Province. The people used in the research was 117 number of disabled people in the Hua Samrong Sub-district Administrative Organization, Plaeng Yao District, Chachoengsao Province, who have been registered as disabled persons with the Office of Social Development and Human Security, Chachoengsao Province. It is quantitative research. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a confidence value of 0.983. Statistics used in descriptive data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, and Standard Deviation, and statistical values used to test hypotheses include analysis Multiple Regression is statistically significant at the .05 level.

          The results of research found that:

1.The social welfare of disabled people in Hua Samrong Sub-district Administrative Organization Plaeng Yao District, Chachoengsao Province, the overall average was at the highest level. The considering each aspect in descending order, the general social services, and health aspect average is at the highest level, residential aspect, and work and income aspect is at a high level, respectively.    

          2.The overall average quality of life of disabled people in Hua Samrong Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Plaeng Yao District, Chachoengsao Province was at a good level. The considering each aspect in descending order found that; environment, followed by physical, and psychological aspect at a good level, and society aspect at a moderate level, respectively.

The comparison of personal characteristics and welfare receipt of disabled people in Hua Samrong Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Plaeng Yao District, Chachoengsao Province classified by gender, type of disability, educational level, occupation, average monthly income of respondents, and the average monthly income of families has no difference, but different ages and marital status have different benefits for disabled people.
2. The receiving social welfare that affects to quality of life of disabled people in the Hua Samrong Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Plaeng Yao District, Chachoengsao Province in a positive direction. includes receiving social welfare, and work and income. Statistically significant at the .05 level.
