Management of Internal Educational Quality Assurance to Prepare for 5th External Educational Quality Assurance of Basic Education Level

Abstract

          The purpose of this article to present the approach and concept management of internal educational quality assurance to prepare for 5^thexternal educational quality assurance of basic education level. Office for national education standards and quality assessment (ONESQA) will start using this 5^thexternal educational quality assurance in 2024-2028. Updated in methods standard indicators and evaluation criteria for used in the assessment. Necessary to be prepared for the connection between the internal quality assurance standards and the external quality assurance standards, which have the same, consistent, and equal standards, but the number of indicators is different. In terms of the implementation of quality assurance in educational institutions, it is to improve the implementation of the 6 quality assurance procedures within the educational institution and to prepare documentary evidence to present as operational information, which is in accordance with the standards of the 5^thexternal educational quality assurance, with 9 standards for learning outcomes, 16 standards for administrative and management processes, and 9 standards for teaching and learning management processes that focus on learners. Therefore, basic education institutions must be aware of prepare to support the 5^thexternal educational quality assurance, which will lead to a good understanding of the effective performance of education quality assurance and clearly reflect the results of education management.
