Development of Educational Quality Management in School with Public Sector Management Quality Award PMQA, under Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 5

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were to study the conditions problems and guidelines for quality management developing in school with public sector management quality award (PMQA): under Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 5. The sample consisted of 300 teachers. The returned questionnaires totaled 318 copies, equaling 94.33 percent. The research tools were a 5-level rating scale questionnaire with discrimination values between .48-.82 and a reliability of .97 for the states of public administration of schools, and a questionnaire with discrimination values between .47-.81 and a reliability of .96 for the problems of public administration of schools. The statistics used to analyze data included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

The findings were as follows:

1. The conditions of development of educational quality to PMQA, both overall and by individual aspect, were at high levels.
2. The problems of development of educational quality to PMQA, both overall and by individual aspect, were at moderate levels.
3. The of development of educational quality: Administrators should build good relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external personnel. process of listening to opinions or brainstorming together to develop work performance systems. analysis of both internal and external factors (SWOT Analysis) used in planning the annual work plan at the end of each academic year, and new technology is used in operations in accordance with the current social context.
