Conditions and Guidelines for Developing Budget management of Trakanphuetphon Technical College in Ubonratchathani Province

Abstract

The thesis titled 'The Situation and Development Directions of Budget Management in Trakanphuetphon Technical College, Ubon Ratchathani Province' aims to 1) study the current situation of budget management in Trakanphuetphon Technical College and 2) explore the development directions of budget management in these colleges. The research is a survey conducted among the target population of 98 individuals, including administrators, teachers, and educational personnel in Trakanphuetphon Technical College. Statistical methods used include means, percentages, and standard deviations.

The study findings reveal that

1. The budget management framework comprises 7 dimensions. Overall, the average level of budget management was rated high. The highest average score was for financial management, followed by accounting management, resource mobilization and investment for education, inventory and asset management, and budget proposal preparation. The lowest averages were found in two aspects: budget allocation and monitoring, evaluation, and reporting
2. The guidelines for budget management development at Trakarnphuetphon Technical College, consist of 3 aspects:1) Transparency in budget management: Emphasizing information disclosure, teacher participation, and the establishment of monitoring mechanisms. 2) Budget allocation improvement: Highlighting the need for clear criteria and allocation methods, budget information disclosure, stakeholder participation, and monitoring mechanisms. 3) Budget preparation and proposal enhancement: Ensuring alignment with the college's vision, mission, and goals, and setting clear objectives for budget preparation
