This study aimed to examine the influence of motivation and political information exposure on political expression behaviors on the X application among Generation Z citizens. The sample consisted of 400 Generation Z individuals born between 1995 and 2010 residing in Bangkok and its metropolitan area. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through multiple regression analysis. The results indicated that motivation had a statistically significant effect on political expression behaviors (β = .873, p < .001), explaining 76.1% of the variance, whereas political information exposure alone did not have a significant effect. Analysis of motivational dimensions revealed that political advocacy behavior was influenced by knowledge (β = .368), social integration (β = .360), and stress relief (β = .246). Political support behavior was influenced by social integration (β = .392), stress relief (β = .345), and knowledge (β = .205). Public policy promotion behavior was influenced by social integration (β = .439), knowledge (β = .308), and emotion (β = .156), while government opposition behavior was influenced by social integration (β = .444), knowledge (β = .295), and stress relief (β = .173).
