Running Movies in Sports Film Contexts

From the literature review of film studies and sport studies, it is still a debatable issue when regarding sports films as a film genre. It can be either film about sports or film categories. In my view, sports films as a genre is acceptable. Running movies can be studied by 2 approaches: film-theory-centered and social-issue-centered. It can be blended in more than one concept to a mix-methodology and interdisciplinary fields. In this case study, many possibilities may arise from looking into definition, context, film and other field analysis and synthesis from the documentary film 2,215.
