A MODEL SYNTHESIS OF MODERN WEB TECHNOLOGY USING INFOGRAPHICS PRESENTATION TECHNIQUE TO ENHANCE DESIGN THINKING FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS OF COMPUTER EDUCATION PROGRAM IN FACULTY OF EDUCATION NAKHON PHANOM UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) synthesize a model of modern web technology using infographic presentation technique to enhance design thinking, 2) evaluate the suitability of the modern web technology model that using infographic presentation technique to enhance design thinking. This research was qualitative research that had divided the research conducting into 2 steps. 1. The model synthesis with document synthesis techniques that had target group who were experts in modern web technology, infographic presentation technique, and design thinking. There were 9 experts in total who were selected specifically. Data were collected by using an interview form and synthesizing the collected data to develop the teaching model. 2. The evaluation of the teaching model suitability had target group that consisted of 5 experts in evaluation of instructional model suitability. These experts were selected specifically. Data collecting used 5-level questionnaires estimation scale. The collecting data were analyzed by mean and standard deviation. The research findings revealed as follows. 1) The modern web technology model synthesis using infographic presentation technique to enhance design thinking had. There were 5 components of the model: 1.Planning, 2.Design, 3. Development, 4. Implementation, and 5. Trial/Publish. 2) Evaluation of the suitability of the modern web technology model using infographic presentation technique to enhance design thinking, that had been developed, had its suitability at a very good level (X̅) =4.73, S.D.=0.21, which indicated that the synthesized model could be developed as a tool for teaching and learning.
