Efficiency of the information system implementation for E-project administration, Maejo University, Chiang Mai Province

The purposes of this research were to study efficiency of information system implementation for E-Project Administration Maejo University, Chiang Mai Province. Data collection was made through questionnaires for sampling cohorts consisting of the personnel of different faculties inside Maejo University, Chiang Mai Province, who used information system for E-Project service, totaling. The data were analyzed by means of basic statistics, consisting of frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The findings were as follows. The efficiency of information system application for E-Project Administration was overall rated at a high level. When considering by aspect, it was found that output was rated at a high level with a high mean. In this regard, the use of E-project system facilitated more conveniently the communication and cooperation such as affixing the signature to the project concerned, which was able to do at any place that was furnished with such network and computer, followed by the process being rated at a high level. Moreover, the E-project limited the right to access for the user and safety system of the database. The input factor had efficiency at a medium level. The component of input included computer and most effective equipments, and had a high mean, while the training of personnel and operators in using the E-project, properly and continuously, had a lowest mean.
An approach to efficiency of information system application development for E-Project Administration of Maejo University was that in terms of input, the university should create understanding and exchange ideas continuously about work system to the personnel of all scalar chain, who dealt with this system, and there should have a regular training on the system usage after the system improvement each time, including system handbooks preparation for all users in the university.
