The developing in basic word reading achievement of prathomsuksa 2 students taught by vocabulary cards and picture cards

Abstract

The research entitled ‘developing in basic word reading achievement of prathomsuksa 2 students taught by vocabulary cards and picture cards’ was aimed to develop the basic word reading achievement of prathomsuksa 2 students. The samples used in the research were 72 prathomsuksa 2 students of academic year 2018 at Ban Si Nual School by specific purposive sampling selection. The tools used in the research were as follows; 1) 10 lesson plans for understanding by vocabulary cards and picture cards and 2) achievement test of basic words including 30 items of multiple choice test of 3 options with quality inspection and value for the index of conformity (IOC) from the experts. The Basic statistics used in the research were average values (, Arithmetic Mean) and the standard deviation (S.D., Standard Deviation). The data were analyzed by using the statistics and in analyzing the difference of achievement scores before and after studying of the sample group, the t-test formula based on the Dependent calculation was used with ready-made program.

The results of research were found that learning achievement in basic word reading of prathomsuksa 2 students taught by vocabulary cards and picture cards after learning was higher than before learning at a statistical significance of .05.
