THE ROLE IN SANGHA’S AFFAIRS ADMINISTRATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE MONKS ON EDUCATION WELFARE IN NAKHON SI THAMMARAT PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this thesis were as follows : 1) To study the role in Sangha’s affairs administration of administrative monks on education welfare. 2) To compare the role in Sangha’s affairs administration of administrative monks on education welfare in terms of period of monkhood, ruling position, formal education and degrees of Dhamma study as differently. 3) To study the guideline for the role in Sangha’s affairs administration of administrative monks on education welfare.

The results reveal that :

1) The role in Sangha’s affairs administration of administrative monks on education welfare by overviews in four aspects are at high level, while consider in each aspects from more to less find that the aspect of administration is the highest mean and follow up the aspect of education welfare and the aspect of temple development for educational center is the lowest mean.

2) The comparative result of the role in Sangha’s affairs administration of administrative monks on education welfare administrative monks in terms of period of monkhood, ruling position, formal education and degrees of Dhamma study by overviews find that there are not different as statistically significance at .05,

3) The suggestion from interviews reveal that the administration in the aspect of education welfare is to study for helping not for religious study only but for others also i.e. all monks they work as country development in the aspect of education by Sanggha or own self either education for primary, secondary, high school or higher education and to help for institute or private etc.
