AN APPLICATION OF BUDDHIST PHILOSOPHY INTEACHING AND LEARNING OF STUDENTS IN GRADUATESCHOOL MAHAMAKUT BUDDHIST UNIVERSITY

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study application of Buddhist philosophy in the study of graduate students, Graduate School, Mahamakut Buddhist University, 2) to compare the application of Buddhist philosophy in the study of graduate students, Graduate School, Mahamakut Buddhist University based on their age, income and occupation, and 3) to study suggestions on the application of Buddhist philosophy in the study of graduate students, Graduate School, Mahamakut Buddhist University. The data were collected from 170 samples by questionnaires created under the scope of conceptual framework, theories and research works concerned, objectives, hypotheses and operational definitions.
The results of this research found that:
- The students of Graduate School, Mahamakut Buddhist University applied Buddhist philosophy in their study in 4 aspects at a high level overall. In aspects by descending sorting, the highest level was on Viriya, followed by Vimamsa, Chanda and Citta respectively.
- The comparative results in the application of Buddhist philosophy in the study of graduate students, Graduate School, Mahamakut Buddhist University based on their different age, income and occupation were found differently with a statistically significant figure at .05.
- The suggestions in the application of Iddhipada principles in the study of graduate students of Mahamakut Buddhist University indicated that the most frequency was on Viriya; to be diligent and patient in the study theoretically and practically.
