EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION DEVELOPMENT ACCORDING TO PMQA OF PHRAPARIYATTIDHAMMA SCHOOLS, GENERAL EDUCATION SECTION, CHIANG MAI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the developmental conditions 2) to explore promotional methods for educational development 3) to examine the promotional methods of educational development in accordance with PMQA (Performance Measurement, Quality Assurance) of Phrapariyattidhamma Schools, General Education Section, Chiang Mai Province. The sample comprised 193 individuals, including executives and teachers from Phrapariyattidhamma Schools, General Education Section, Chiang Mai Province, selected through Simple Random Sampling. Additionally, interviews were conducted with 7 experts in the field of educational development and 3 experts in investigating developmental conditions and promotional methods based on PMQA. The research tool employed was a questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.848. Data analysis encompassed frequency and percentage distribution, as well as calculations of mean and standard deviation. The data was then synthesized, evaluated, and summarized descriptively.

The results of this research found that:

1. The overall educational development according to PMQA at Phrapariyattidhamma Schools, General Education Section, Chiang Mai Province, was rated as high. Upon examining each component individually, all were deemed to be at a high level. The components, ranked by average score from high to low, were: organizational leadership, strategic planning, operational outcomes, emphasis on human resources, process management, consideration for clients and stakeholders, as well as measurement, analysis, and knowledge management.
2. The recommended method for institutional development based on PMQA emphasizes the need to maintain an up-to-date database for quick and easy access to knowledge management resources. This involves systematic and secure information storage, continuous knowledge updates, satisfaction surveys pertaining to knowledge management within educational institutions, enhancements to the operating system, mechanisms for collecting stakeholder feedback, and the establishment of a system to address queries and provide practical advice.
3. Regarding the examination of promotional methods for educational development according to PMQA, the accuracy, suitability, feasibility, and helpfulness were all reported at 100 percent.
