Abstract

This research article aimed to: 1) Study the digital leadership of school administrators; 2) Explore guidelines for developing the digital leadership of school administrators with best practices; 3) Construct and verify a digital leadership development model for school administrators; and 4) Evaluate the digital leadership development model for school administrators. The population and sample consisted of 118 school administrators, 118 head teachers of administrative departments, and 9 experts. The research instruments included a questionnaire, an interview form, and an expert seminar record form. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

The research found that:

The overall digital leadership scores of school administrators were at the highest level, while the aspect of using digital technology for learning was at the lowest level.
The guidelines for developing the digital leadership of school administrators with best practices, functioning through a 6-component quality cycle, focus on driving vision and innovation with information technology, building networks, promoting active learning, and elevating the digital mindset of personnel. This aims to enhance administrative efficiency and student learning achievement toward becoming sustainable digital citizens.
The digital leadership development model for school administrators consists of six components: principles, objectives, inputs, processes, outputs, and outcomes. The accuracy and appropriateness of the model were rated at the highest level.
The evaluation of the digital leadership development model for school administrators revealed that its feasibility and utility were at a high level.
