Abstract

A Komārabhacca is a teacher of Thai traditional medicine. He is a real person in the history of Buddhism. The story of Doctor Jīvakakomārabhacca is mentioned in the Tripitaka and the commentary. Doctor Jīvakakomārabhacca provides treatment to patients regardless of status or class. He is a person who has been praised by the Lord Buddha as the best performer in all respects. Doctor Jīvakakomārabhacca is a famous physician in the Buddhist era. He has studied medicine in Taxila of Gandhara. He was appointed by King Pim Pisarn to be a royal physician. Laterthat He gave a treatment to the Lord Buddha and became a physician of the Lord Buddha. These things are his morality and ethics; also He has outstanding medical knowledge and expertise. He brought many knowledge and skills to help people in both the Buddhism and the Kingdom. He had developed his mind until he was a man of great sincerity.
