Guidelines for the Development of Early Childhood Education Management of Private Schools under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 1

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the current situation, the desirable condition and 2) to study guidelines for the development of the needs of early childhood education management of private schools under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 1. The sample group consisted of school administrators, teachers and academic teachers under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 1, with the total number of 187 people by using stratified random sampling. The instrument used for data collection was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire. The statistics used in data analysis comprised percentage, mean, standard deviation, and PNImodified index.
The research results were found that:
1. The current situation of the development of early childhood education management of private schools under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 1, in overall, was found that it was rated at a moderate level, when considering in each aspect, it was found that early childhood education management was rated at a moderate level arranging from the most to the lowest level as follows: teacher and personnel development, curriculum administration, environment and media management for learning, service of media and information technology service to support the experience, quality management of educational institution, the desirable condition of the development of early childhood education management of private schools, in overall, was found that it was rated at a high level, when considering in each aspect, it was found that early childhood education management was rated at a high level in all aspects arranging from the most to the lowest level as follows: curriculum administration, teacher and personnel development, environment and media management for learning, media and information technology service to support the experience and quality management of educational institution.
2. Regarding needs of early childhood education management of private schools under the Office of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area 1, it was found that the aspect at the highest level of needs was curriculum administration, quality management of educational institutions, environment and media management for learning, media and information technology service to support the experience and teacher and personnel development respectively.
