Learning Management for Civic Divic Duty Course in Accordance with the Integrated Democratic way by Iddhipada 4 of Secondary School Students Don Chan Wittayakhom School, Kalasin Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the learning management of the civic duty course in accordance with the integrated democratic way by using the 4 principles. 2) Comparison of the learning management of the Citizenship Course classified by sex, age and level of study and 3) Propose an approach for learning management of citizen duty subjects according to an integrated democratic way using the 4 principles. This study was mixed-method research of quantitative and qualitative research. The samples of this study included 175 lower secondary school students, and the target group included 17 school directors, vice directors, heads of the learning area of social studies, religion and culture, and teachers. The statistics used in data analysis were: Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, and One-Way ANOVA. The computer program was also used to interpret the obtained data.
The research results were as follows:
1. The satisfaction with the learning management in the course ‘Civic Duties’ according to the democratic way integrated with the Four Iddhipāda Dhammas of lower secondary school students at Don Chan Wittayakhom School, Kalasin Province was at a high level.
2. Based on comparing the samples' factors: gender, the levels ofstudents’ satisfaction with all four aspects of the learning management in thecourse ‘Civic Duties’ according to the democratic way integrated with the Four Iddhipāda Dhammas were not different. This result denied the setypothesis. Classified by age and educational levels, the result was the same.
3. The way to promote the learning management in the course ‘Civic Duties’ according to the democratic way integrated with the Four Iddhipāda Dhammas of lower secondary school students at Don Chan Wittayakhom School, Kalasinwere as follows, to provide students with knowledge and understanding of how to be good citizens and how to behave as a good citizen following the democratic way, Teaching is essential as it serves to develop and empower learners to change behavior in terms of thinking, intelligence, and assessment of learning outcomes that emphasize classroom performance, pointing out the actual state of the learners.
