Access to Health Service of Elderly People in Sanamchai Sub-District, Mueang District, Supanburi Province

The objectives of this research were to 1) study the level of access to health service of elderly people in Sanamchai Sub-District, Mueang District, Supanburi Province, and 2) comparing access to health service of elderly people in Sanamchai Sub-District, Mueang District, Supanburi Province classified by personal factors. This research is a quantitative research. The sampling group was 344 elderly people whose lived in Sanamchai Sub-District, Mueang District, Supanburi Province. The research tool was a questionnaire.Statistics used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. Statistical test, t-test and One-way ANOVA. When differences are found, compare the differences couples using LSD.
The research results were as follows:
1. The level of access to health service of elderly people in Sanamchai Sub-District, Mueang District, Supanburi Province overall was highest level. ( = 4.74)
2. The result of comparing access to health service of elderly people in Sanamchai Sub-District, Mueang District, Supanburi Province classified by personal factors are gender, age, average monthly income, person who helps when going to the hospital and distance from home to hospital have access to health service of elderly people in Sanamchai Sub-District, Mueang District, Supanburi Province was not different significant at the 0.05 level. Problems and obstacles of this research was access to health services in terms of affordability. Therefore, the relevant organization should be developed a service system to cover target groups at all levels. And there are guidelines for helping when encountering elderly patients with cost problems.
