The Development of Teacher Competency in Learning Management for Parallel Classrooms for Autistic Students at Ban Phai Primary School, under the Jurisdiction of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

            The purposes of this study were: 1) to develop teachers’ knowledge and understanding of learning management in parallel classrooms for autistic students at Ban Phai Primary School; 2) to develop teachers’ competency in learning management for parallel classrooms for autistic students at Ban Phai Primary School; and 3) to study teachers’ satisfaction toward learning management in parallel classrooms for autistic students at Ban Phai Primary School. This study employed an action research approach. The participants consisted of five teachers from Ban Phai Primary School and one teacher from Special Education Center Region 9, Khon Kaen Province. The research instruments included a test, a competency assessment form, a satisfaction questionnaire, and a supervision and follow-up record form. The data were analyzed using mean, percentage, standard deviation, and content analysis.
