คุณลักษณะของห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐที่เป็นองค์กรนวัตกรรม

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณลักษณะของห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐที่เป็นองค์กรนวัตกรรม ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการพัฒนา และศึกษาสภาพการเป็นองค์กรนวัตกรรมของห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐ ใช้วิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพและเชิงปริมาณ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสัมภาษณ์กึ่งโครงสร้างและแบบสอบถาม ผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ คือ ผู้บริหารห้องสมุด บรรณารักษ์ ผู้ใช้บริการ และผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจำนวน รวม 20 คน กลุ่มตัวอย่างเชิงปริมาณ ได้แก่ ผู้ปฏิบัติงานห้องสมุดจำนวน 271 คน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพใช้วิธีวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ส่วนการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณ สถิติที่ใช้คือ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยและค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัย พบว่า คุณลักษณะของห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐที่เป็นองค์กรนวัตกรรม ประกอบด้วย 1) องค์กรที่มีวิสัยทัศน์และผู้นำเชิงนวัตกรรม 2) ความเป็นองค์กรแห่งการเรียนรู้ 3) องค์กรที่เน้นผู้ใช้บริการเป็นศูนย์กลาง 4) องค์กรที่มีการปรับเปลี่ยนกระบวนการคิด 5) องค์กรที่มีการปรับเปลี่ยนบทบาทและกระบวนการทำงาน 6) องค์กรที่มีวัฒนธรรมแบบเปิด และ7) องค์กรที่มีเครือข่ายความร่วมมือ ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการพัฒนาห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐสู่การเป็นองค์กรนวัตกรรม ได้แก่ 1) องค์กร 2) ผู้นำห้องสมุด 3) ทรัพยากรและงบประมาณ 4) เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ และ 5) ผู้ใช้บริการ และสภาพการเป็นองค์กรนวัตกรรมของห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐ พบว่า ภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ด้านที่มีลักษณะเป็นองค์กรนวัตกรรมมากที่สุด คือ ด้านองค์กรที่เน้นผู้ใช้บริการเป็นศูนย์กลาง รองลงมาได้แก่ ด้านการปรับเปลี่ยนบทบาทและกระบวนการทำงาน และด้านองค์กรที่มีความเป็นองค์กรแห่งการเรียนรู้ ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการพัฒนาตามสภาพจริง พบว่า ภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุด คือ ด้านผู้ใช้บริการ รองลงมาได้แก่ ด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ และด้านผู้นำห้องสมุด
