บทความนี้ต้องการนำเสนอมุมมองการเปลี่ยนแปลงเมื่อเทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์
เข้ามาเกี่ยวข้องกับห้องสมุด ด้วยความสามารถที่หลากหลายของปัญญาประดิษฐ์ทำให้การทำงานต่าง ๆ รวมถึงการให้บริการของห้องสมุด อาทิ การบริหาร การจัดหาสารสนเทศ การทำดัชนีเนื้อหา การทำรายการ และการค้นหาข้อมูลด้วยเสียง โดยประสิทธิภาพของบริการเหล่านี้จะสามารถตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้ใช้ได้อย่างรวดเร็ว ปัญญาประดิษฐ์เป็นเทคโนโลยีใหม่ในแวดวงห้องสมุด ดังนั้นบรรณารักษ์จำเป็นต้องปรับตัวและพัฒนาศักยภาพตนเองให้พร้อมที่จะงานในยุคปัญญาประดิษฐ์
