บทคัดย่อ

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอถึงการเปลี่ยนแปลงของห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษาจากเดิมที่เป็นเพียงแหล่งรวบรวมทรัพยากรสารสนเทศไปเป็นพื้นที่การเรียนรู้ที่ทันสมัย โดยการเปลี่ยนแปลงเกิดขึ้นในมิติต่าง ๆ ได้แก่ การให้บริการและกิจกรรมบางอย่างมีรูปแบบที่เปลี่ยนไป หรือบางบริการอาจไม่มีความจำเป็นอีกต่อไป นอกจากนี้ยังมีกิจกรรมที่เกิดขึ้นใหม่ ที่มักเป็นบริการที่ผู้ใช้บริการสามารถใช้ความคิดสร้างสรรค์หรือมีส่วนร่วม นอกเหนือจากบริการเข้าถึงความรู้ในลักษณะเดิม สุดท้ายบทความได้เสนอแนวทางในการปรับเปลี่ยนห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษาไปสู่การเป็นพื้นที่การเรียนรู้ในมิติกายภาพ ทรัพยากรและเทคโนโลยี และบทบาทของบุคลากรที่ทำหน้าที่ให้บริการในฐานะผู้ให้บริการในพื้นที่การเรียนรู้
