This article presented interesting issues from IFLA 2017 international conference. IFLA’s role towards the development of libraries and librarians
worldwide, school libraries, academic libraries, public libraries, special libraries, LIS education, and library network, as well as the roles of the Thai Library Association in moving towards internationalization to fulfill the TLA new strategic plan are highlighted.
