Ashram Wongsa Dhiraj Snit

Abstract

Ashram Wongsa Dhiraj Snid was established under the cooperation of Chulalongkorn University, Ministry of Publica Health, Ministry of Culture and the Royal Line “Snidwong” at the 6^th floor of the Center of Academic Resources building of Chulalongkorn University to commemorate the high abilities of His Royal Highness Krom Luang Wongsa Dhiraj Snid on literature, education, foreign affairs, administration and Thai Traditional medicine, and on the occasion when in 2008 UNESCO celebrated the anniversaries of eminent personalities “200^th anniversary of His Royal Highness Krom Luang Wongsa Dhiraj Snid, scholar and poet 1809-1871”. The Ashram Contains permanent exhibit information, rare books written by him, 200 years of his birthday commemorative copies, electronic materials, reference and searcging service as well as papers on pharmacy. On 26 November 2010 H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Siridhorn had graciously open this Ashram and searching related information.
