The Observation on the Advancement of Libraries, Archives and Learning Centres in Australia

Abstract

Thai Library Association under the Patronage of H.R.H.Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, in 2010, took the leading role in guiding librarians and related persons to visit the National Library of Australia, the State Library of New South Wales, the University of Technology Sydneyûs Blake Library, the National Archives, the State Records Authority of New South Wales and prominent learning centres in Australia. Librarians, archivists and related persons had the good chance to meet, to observe and to exchange ideas and experience on the administration, technique, services and technology with Australian counterparts during the professional visit. The experience and knowledge received from Australia would be fruitfully applied to libraries, archives and related learning centres in Thailand.
