Abstract

Decisions in daily life and operations that will be accurate or reduce errors must be made based on the results of data analysis. Data analysis is important in every activity. Information organizations are concerned with data and data analysis at every process. Both the operations of the organization itself require data analysis in order to report operating results for administrators to use as a guideline for planning and decision-making. Staff use data analysis as a guideline to improve work. In terms of information services, data analysis helps in organizing services and activities that are consistent with the needs of users. This article discusses the meaning of data and big data, components and processes in data analysis, techniques and tools used in data analysis, and their application to information organizations.
