Guidelines for Effective and Long-life Learning Libraries for Sustainable Development : Key Concepts from The Thai Library Association Conference

The article seeks to encapsulate the key concepts from the academic conference on “Effectiveness of Long-life Learning Libraries for Sustainable Development,” organized by the Higher Education Librarian’s Group, the Thai Special Libraries Group, the Library and Information Science Teachers Group, the Thai Library Association, and Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University on December 18, 2023. The conference encompassed three topics: 1) Creating innovations and marketing strategies for libraries; 2) Investigating trends in library sustainability in an era of change; and 3) A seminar on “Delivering Generative AI for Libraries.” These key concepts would serve as effective practices for librarians, librarian professionals, library staff, and administrators in establishing libraries as lifelong learning centers.
