The Development of Achievement with Scientific Process Skills Using the 5E's of Inquiry-Based on Activity Package: Materials used to Make Toys and Item from Wood of the Students in Border Patrol Police School Pracha Rat Bamrung 1, Sakaeo Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) to develop inquiry-based activities to be effective according to the criteria 80/80 2) in order to compare achievement 3) to compare scientific process skills 4) to study student satisfaction with the development of academic achievement and scientific process skills. Using inquiry-based activities (5E) together with activity sets on materials used to make toys and items made from wood. The research design is experimental research. The target group used in the research There were 20 Grade 2 students who were drawn from purposive random sampling. The tools used in the research include 1) 8 learning plans on materials used to make toys and items made from wood 2) a set of activity materials around us on materials used to make toys and items made from wood 3) a science achievement test 4) Process skills test scientific and 5) satisfaction questionnaire Statistics used include percentage, mean, standard deviation.  and t-test (t-test).         The results of the research found that (1) the efficiency of the inquiry-based activities (5E) together with the activity set of the 2nd grade students was 82.90/ 84.75, higher than the specified criteria (2) the academic achievement of  Students who study using inquiry-based activities (5E) together with activity sets After studying higher than before studying with statistical significance at the .05 level (3) The science process skills of students who studied using inquiry-based activities (5E) together with the activity set after class were higher than before class. with statistical significance at the .05 level and (4) students were satisfied with the inquiry-based activities (5E) together with the collaborative activity set at a high level (= 2.55, S.D. = 0.13)
