Digital Era Management influencing on Public Services Providing of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration based on the Concept of Sustainable management

Abstract

This research aims to study on problems and development guidelines on digital era management influencing on public services providing of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration based on the concept of sustainable management as well as to study on digital era management influencing on public services providing of Bangkok Metropolis based on the concept of sustainable management. This research is a Mixed Method Research conducted in the form of quantitative research and qualitative research. Tool used for collecting data in quantitative research was questionnaire. The researcher used drawing lots to select 6 districts divided into 3 districts from the northern part of Bangkok and 3 districts from the southern part of Bangkok including Thong Buri District Office, Bangkok Noi District Office, Suan Luang District Office, Wang Thonglang District Office, Lak Si District Office, and Khlong Toey District Office to obtain 1,110 samples divided into 185 samples per district. For qualitative research, research tool was in-depth structural interview, i.e., the Interview Form for interviewing with 9 experts. Statistics used for analyzing data were mean, Standard Deviation, and regression coefficient. The results revealed that the digital era management on emphasizing on benefits of people, profession, reliability, democracy, and convenience affected to public services providing of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration based on the concept of sustainable management on economy or prosperity, quality of life, natural resources and environment with statistical significance.
