FACTORS SUPPORTING TO THE SUCCESS IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACCORDING TO SUFFICIENCY ECONOMY PHILOSOPHY

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: (1) to study the success level in community development according to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of Nawa District, Nakhon Phanom Province, 2) to investigate factors supporting to the success in community development according to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in Nawa District, Nakhon Phanom Province, (3) to study guidelines supporting to the success in community development according to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in Nawa District, Nakhon Phanom Province

The research results were as follows: (1) The success level in community development according to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of Nawa District, Nakhon Phanom Province found that the overall and individual aspects were at the high level. (2) Factors supporting to the success in community development according to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in Nawa District, Nakhon Phanom Province in overall aspects had the correlation in statistical significance at the .05 level (r = .278), being at the quite low level.

(3) Guidelines supporting to the success in community development according to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in Nawa District, Nakhon Phanom Province found the levels of household / family lacked the knowledge and correct understanding in income and expense accounts with debt problems and lack of enthusiasm for seeking new knowledge or innovation to adapt in life and develop the community according to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy found the help and support from the government in various fields related with community development according to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, lack of market support for community products or no variety in community products and lack of product development in terms of quality, stylish appearance, modernity, beauty and lack of budget to carry out community development activities according to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy.
